In 2025, MTJG London marks its 10th anniversary — a milestone for a conference that has become a forum for critical conversations at the intersection of interactive entertainment, law, and policy. This special edition, hosted once again at the historic Old Hall at Lincoln’s Inn, will explore the theme of “Pushing Boundaries” — examining how the video games industry can continue to innovate boldly while ensuring progress is ethical, inclusive, and trusted. As technological capabilities advance at pace, and the industry’s global footprint continues to grow, so must our frameworks for equity, access, and accountability. The conference will tackle pressing questions: How can we push creative and technical boundaries without reinforcing systemic inequities? How do we build trust between players, platforms, developers and regulators? And what does responsible innovation look like in practice?
Across two days of panels, case studies, and expert insight, MTJG 2025 will bring together thought leaders from across law, academia, industry, practice and regulators to examine topics including:
-
The interplay of innovation and regulation in emerging technologies
